New Photos, Butler, And Other Hodgepodge

Dear Reader,

I am anxiously waiting while writing this post. There is about 6 minutes left in the Final Four Championship game, Butler is down by 11 points to uconn (notice how I'm not capitalizing their name). Sadly, Butler is really struggling, and fear is creeping into the hearts of all Butler fans, like me. While babysitting recently, one of the girls was showing her Bulldog pride by sporting her Butler shirt....I couldn't help but snap a picture!! :)

I have been pretty obsessed with my camera the last couple of days, and have taken tons and tons of new pictures. Here are a few samples of my work within the last 3 days....

This one I randomly took while the computer, notebook, and pillow were on my lap...it was such a strange assortment of colors and patterns I couldn't help myself!

Ohhhh the delight of chocolate! Sadly I was on a sugar diet when I took this picture so almost shed some tears when I put it back in the wrapper and threw it away! ;(

These are the buttons of our new blender, "The Blendtec." It is just about the coolest gizmo I have ever seen. It makes soup, ice cream, smoothies, and tons of other stuff. It is awesomely powerful and LOUD. Best piece of electronics we've ever had in our kitchen. I had like 4 shakes today.

This particular shot intrigued me greatly. A bunch of light bulbs that appeared to be set out "to dry" that were filled with condensation. Quite strange. Reminded me of that Amelia Bedelia book where she hung the lightbulbs on a clothesline.

Thank you, Lord, for the rain. I love this picture. I love the rain.

1:33 to go and Butler is down by 8. I really need to sign off because I'm really nervous. But, if they lose, God is good.
